Potter's version of the Breckenridge ride leaves out some of the details of our love / hate relationship and ride. First, Potter insisted on riding Breckenridge despite my asertions that there would be too much snow. The KTM and Potter were not up to the task at hand with Potter and the KTM crapping out after only 7 miles. Potter even needed the help of a female Sierra clubber to make a 90 degree turn, only to have the KTM puck it guts a mile from the top. Why Potter tended to his stead and stole my water to fill his radiator Pooher enjoy a Mag 5 meal of turkey sandwich washed down with a ice cold Newcastle and a shot of Crown. After descending down the hill we proceeded to the Corral for a more predictable Mag 5 ride.

The Kern River trail was typically epic. Potter was correct that Pooher did some snow sampling but if you are not crashing you are not going fast enough. Potter loves his little fucking french horn a little too much for Pooher's taste so I let him past and then settled into a measured pace that delivered us to the truck before sunset. Sunsets in the Sierras are epic. It was another Keyesville Classic even though there were only 2 of us.
